CRI’s Discovery Days 2017 took place the 19th and 20th of October.

What is it ?
The Discovery Days are a 2day event organised internally in order to gather whole CRI’s community and showcase all its expertise and skills to new students.

This year, we met at La Cité des Sciences: a particularly appropriate place that we made ours, a place of science and learning.

Those two days were introduced by CRI founders: François Taddei and Ariel Lindner, as well as Isabelle Hilali, our Managing Director.
Staff, students and teachers mingled and got to know each other throughout talks and games.
New members of the community could also walk around stands and discover the wide range of possibilities in CRI ecosystem:

  • Our Bachelor, Masters, PhD and DU programs
  • Research @CRI
  • The student clubs, one of the main actors of CRI’s life
  • The CRI labs : GameLab, MotionLab, MakerLab, Mooc Factory
  • Savanturiers – Ecole de la Recherche
  • DITOs (Doing It Together science)
  • Partners hosted at CRI : Sapiens and The Conversation
  • The staff and its roles (IT, HR, General Secretary, Communications)

Let’s conclude with some wise highlight from our Bachelor students: “Interdisciplinarity ? This term will soon no longer exist. It will be called science“. (initially said by Jean Krivine, CNRS researcher and M1 teacher of Computational Biology II)
